Another busy weekend winding down here. I hope the Easter Bunny was good to you and brought you jelly beans and chocolate bunnies! I love Easter mainly because we celebrate with lamb chops at the Quest Household. Lamb chops are so yummy and special since we only have them once a year.
This year we enjoyed them with a side of roasted fennel and rainbow carrots fresh from our co-op produce. The Kid also had roasted potatoes with fresh dill. I’m still thinking about it. It was that good!
- I kicked off the Even Happier Quest with a morning song.
- I had an interesting adventure with a crazy cat that had a very happy ending.
- We enjoyed breakfast for dinner with a pancake souffle topped with strawberries.
- I solved my stinky gym issue with a new detergent and it passed numerous tests with flying colors.
- The Kid and I had an afternoon of people watching and dreams of Jelly Bean Lattes.
- I had a fabulous leg day workout that seriously kicked my butt.
On that last topic, ohhhh an update. I really focused during the workout on activating my glutes and hamstrings. Usually I have mild soreness the day after a workout but it’s Day 2 that’s the worst. If this holds true this time, I’m in for a heck of a Monday. My back half is in agony today so I must have done it the right way. I’ve been walking like John Wayne all day.
