No Longer A Dream But A Real Goal!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching since my post last week. Damn you Oprah for always being so motivating. I did some research and then some more research. I asked a ton of questions and googled. After all of my obsessive compulsive analysis, I finally did it.

Dreams and GoalsI am officially enrolled to become a certified personal trainer! I’ve also decided to pursue certification in fitness nutrition. I’m beside myself with excitement right now. I know it’s going to be hard but every time I think about it I smile.

If you’ve been reading along any length of time, you know that I’ve had this as a goal for a while now. The other day I came across this saying in a magazine and I realized that being a trainer wasn’t a goal yet. I hadn’t done anything but talk about it.

I was letting fear of the unknown get in my way. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you finally get off your butt and do something about it. It is now no longer a dream of mine, but it is officially a goal. I’m on my way!

What dreams do you have that need to be turned into goals?

  1. Congrats on making this a goal and moving forward with the process. Where are you getting your certification from?

I decided to go with ISSA. Their customer support has been amazing so far and their curriculum seems very well rounded. I did a lot of research since there are so many and this one just seemed to fit me. They also have the follow up certifications that I’m interested in including senior fitness and youth fitness.
