Have you seen the Lenny and Larry’s Complete Cookies that the world is fast becoming addicted to? They’re vegan protein cookies that don’t taste like protein cookies.  In fact, with a quick 20-30 seconds in the microwave and you’d never guess they’re protein cookies.

Over the past year, I’ve managed to recreate several of the flavors at home and they’re also my most pinned recipes to date on Pinterest. No more searching. I’ve put all of the recipes in a collection for you so you can pick and choose your favorite and whip up a batch.

Eat them straight from the oven or warmed in the microwave. I also love cutting protein bars, brownies and cookies into cubes and stirring them into my oatmeal. I love when I hear from readers on my recipes, but it’s even more exciting when I get to see pictures of the creations.

This gorgeous pic was taken by _tammysinlove_ on Instagram as she enjoyed her morning porridge with bananas, walnuts, and a cubed Snickerdoodle. It doesn’t get better than that, and I had to give her the honor of using her pic in my post.

I love being able to make the complete cookies at home without having to drive to the store or planning ahead. Not to mention that you can make quite a few at a fraction of the cost of buying them. My single mom budget loves that aspect. Most of the ingredients can be found at your local grocery store.

For the protein powder, I used Orgain Vanilla Bean which is a vegan pea and rice protein blend. Vegan proteins are a different texture than dairy based proteins so keep this in mind if you try a different protein. The pea and rice are closer in texture and holding power to flour than you get with whey or casein. They also add a little fiber to the cookies.

Enjoy and happy baking! Don’t forget to tag me in your creations so I can see how they turned out and your favorite way to enjoy them. If you’re interested in working with me to get meals together fast while working towards your health goals, I’d love to chat. Drop me an email, or come on over to Facebook and ask a question.

  1. Hi Adrianne! I’ve been craving for chocolate chips cookies I ended up buying since my schedule would not allow me to even bake a 20-minute cookie recipe. I am saving this for sure and hopefully find a vegan pea and rice protein blend 🙂 Thank you for sharing!

Hi Jessica and thanks for stopping by. There’s a link to the protein powder above so that might help with your search a little and save you some time. If you check out the comments as well on the recipe pages, people have posted their modifications and how they turned out. I know quite a few tried a dairy based protein powder and it worked well.
