Every now and then I like to look over the recipes that everyone seems to frequent on my site. What’s everyone looking for? What do you click on the most? What are the faves? You guys have some exciting tastes. I have to admit, I also like looking over your faves because it brings back memories for me and because I get a few ideas on meals to bring back this week to my own kitchen.
Breakfast Ideas
You guys like oatmeal and waffles, and not just the plain old flavors. You like the fun flavors like tiramisu and carrot cake!
I also made carrot cake muffins if you prefer a muffin variation, and you could hide some veggies in your oatmeal with a bowl of tiramisu zoats. What’s your vote – waffles or oatmeal? My vote goes towards the waffles this week.
Lunch Ideas
This was a toss up between pizza that you can carry with you and a meal in a bowl. Both very nice choices for ease and portability. I love all things in bowl form, but you could simply layer the blueberry quinoa bowl in a mason jar, pop on the lid and throw it in your lunchbox.

You could also use the mason jar trick with one of the salad or even soup recipes. Just fill the jar and go.
Dinner Ideas
I had to laugh. Again with the pizza vs bowl battle. But hey, it’s the best of both worlds. If you went pizza pocket at lunch, you could go bibimbap bowl for dinner. If you chose the lunch bowl, then thin crust pizza for dinner. Win-win in my book.

Healthy Homemade Korean Bibimbap
I definitely love all things Korean so the bibimbap is the clear winner for me.
Dessert Ideas
It’s no secret that everyone’s favorite desserts involve chocolate. The question is gooey molten chocolate or festive cranberry chocolate?
I might even go with the cookie dough stuffed mugcake or possibly the pumpkin bowlcake depending on what you’re in the mood for.
So there you have your favorite recipes all gathered together. You can quickly mix and match a few menus for this coming week and enjoy some pretty tasty combinations before the holiday. Batch cook chicken, rice and quinoa and the bowls will be done in a flash.
Layer them in a plastic container or mason jar, and you’ve got meals on the go. Pop the pizza pockets together and carry them with you in your purse for when you or the kids get hungry while shopping or visiting Santa.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I see visions of bowls in my future this week!
