Today’s morning was filled with the usual workout, dog walking and food prep. I made a ton of boiled eggs and chicken and also chopped a bunch of veggies for lunches all week. I also made The Kid a batch of blueberry waffles to freeze. She likes to heat them up in the toaster for a quick breakfast before school.
I love getting all the must do tasks out of the way so that I have the rest of Sunday to do fun stuff. After the chores were done, The Kid and I had fun at family day at the painting studio, then we made an afternoon of it with a late lunch and a movie.
In case you missed anything this week, here’s what happened:
- I recommended a food journal to help you pay attention to your hunger and be mindful of whether or not you’re really hungry
- I talked about the turning point in my eating and changing your mindset towards a goal
- I finally got my DAVIDsTea order and it was worth the wait for it to arrive
- I explained the phenomenon of rest days and why you really should take one or two a week
- I made a grown up version of pork chops and applesauce that’s even better than expected
Since today was leg day, I’ve got a date planned with my foam roller to hopefully fend off the soreness that I had after leg day last week. Oh how I love my foam roller. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Happy Sunday!
