Pumpkins and Tatas Go Together, Really!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Halloween PumpkinHappy Halloween! We finally got around to carving our pumpkin last night. The secret is definitely to get a big pumpkin. There’s less goo inside, more seeds, and the cutting itself is so much easier than trying this with a small one. I have to remember this next year.

This weekend was a flurry of activity and a great new recipe. We’re looking forward to trick or treating tonight. Thankfully the weather here shouldn’t be too cold unlike some of the country. The Kid can only eat the candy without dairy so half of our loot will be taken to work for them to enjoy!

In honor of the last day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I am getting my annual mammogram this afternoon. If you are of age, please remember to schedule your mammogram. You may also need to start earlier if you have a history or if your doctor recommends.

Many insurance companies completely cover the cost of a mammogram and there are also resources to get one for free for those who don’t have coverage. It’s a simple thing that you can do to protect your health. Save the tatas!

What are you going to do with your leftover candy? Are you dressing up for Halloween? Happy Halloween! Boooooo!
